President's Message | Motor City Pride Flyer | Pride Weekend Details   President's Message On behalf of the Motor City Bears, I want to welcome everyone to attend our Motor City Bears Pride Weekend 2008! This year will be the best yet. We have planned many events to have fun all weekend! Friday night we have the Bear Blast Party at the Eagle with activities and prizes. We will have tons of food, games and drink specials. Last year's "Best Bear Butt" contest was a huge success and we're doing it again this year! Saturday we have the "Bears in Speedos Car Wash" - a must attend event. Last year's car wash was met with overwhelming success and this year will be bigger, better and bearier! Saturday evening we have our Spaghetti Dinner at Zion Lutheran Church. For just ten bucks you get an all-you-can-eat dinner including desserts. There will be a silent auction with some great stuff to bid on. Finally, on Sunday we join Motor City Pride for the annual street festival. Stop by our Motor City Bears booth for a free gift and learn more about our club! Proceeds from our events go to W.A.G.S. - Wonderful Animals Giving Support, a local charity that assists HIV+ patients by caring for their animals when their owners cannot. The fun weekend starts off with this great party that was a great success last year! Invitations have been sent out to bears from the local area, other Michigan cities, neighboring states and from Canada. So come on out and party with the bears. You can also sign up for the contest the night of the event and all contestants go home with a prize.
